Transit Riders' Union of Edmonton - It's TRUE!
Index Transit Riders' Union of Edmonton

What's a Transit Riders' Union?
Transit Riders' Unions (and Bus Riders' Unions) are generally formed locally by transit riders to tackle local transit-related issues through political advocacy. Affiliations are often loose or non-existent; TRUE was formed independently and maintains full autonomy.

What does TRUE do?
TRUE lobbies for improved transit in Edmonton on behalf of transit riders, its members. TRUE operates as a collective, which allows all members to suggest and manage aspects of its operation. So far, TRUE has formed connections with other political and advocacy groups. Through the TRUE Transit Challenge, TRUE has built working relationships with municipal politicians. TRUE has won a seat at the table; it's up to you to fill it!
